Qld Blue Card Services launched a First Nations co-designed, place-based Blue Card Liaison Officer pilot program in the Yarrabah community to improve community access to the blue card system by delivering culturally appropriate resources and processes.
The Yarrabah pilot, which was co-designed with the local community, was the first of its kind and is known locally as Ngambu Gadigadi Gu, which means ‘completing the journey for children’.
BCLO provides practical assistance and advocacy support to community members navigating government, financial, and administrative processes.

- Advocacy and support with Good Shepherd NILS Loan applications.
