Economic Development

Why have an Economic Development officer in Wugu Nyambil?

For Wugu Nyambil, having an Economic Development Officer, is another way to help job seekers. Wugu Nyambil not only supports job seekers looking for jobs, it supports those who have dreams of being their own boss. This is one of the many ways that Wugu Nyambil is different from other employment agencies.

Kimberley Gillan is our Economic Development Officer. She can help you with starting a business or growing a business. Every Monday we have “drop by” Mondays where you don’t need an appointment. Come and have a yarn, her advice is free and confidential.

You will also see her at the monthly Black Coffee meetings in the Knowledge Centre. These occur on the second Wednesday of every month at 10 am. This is an opportunity for the business community including new businesses to meet and exchange ideas and information.
